pizza, pizza pizza.
i think i ate pizza 3 meals in a row right after the 29th and i remember thinking how you guys would think i was weird. but yeah. the first pizza was from papa johns. (just order no cheese). second was from pizza port in ocean beach. third was from pizza fusion. amazing. i think pizza port was the best. they have whole wheat crust that really added to the flavor.
since then i've been eating. you know. food and stuff. cant remember that far back. i got a CSA and had a couple of boxes of produce. i was eating a lot of salad (which isn't a normal part of my diet. i eat dark greens more often than salad mix. it was good) i cooked a lot of chard, eggplant, bell peppers, hot peppers, carrots, and the like. also been eating lots of soyrizo. they began carrying tofu at my local carniceria/grocery. so i almost feel obligated to buy it because i want to prove to them there is demand. i asked them to carry the vegetarian chorizo and they began carrying it. they're nice people. so i've been making scrambles with soyrizo and potatoes for breakfast. nopalitos and okra stir fries. oatmeal, grits, and malt o meal. hot grapenuts cereal. figs. fresh baked bread. i love making bread.
yesterday:
malt o meal with grapenuts and raisins. whole wheat bread with buttery spread and strawberry jam. coffee. bean burrito with rice. black beans, ice tea. onion fried butternut squash. a hot dog made with sauteed formed faux meat: ground round, whole wheat bun. veganaise dijon raw onions katchup. top ramen with nutritional yeast and ginger (oriental). b12 losenge. womans vitamin.

pancakes, squash and papas, turnips and collards
2 whole wheat pancakes with cinnamon and margarine
squash and potatoes pan fried with garlic. bbq sauce.

coffee (1/2 decaf 1/2 leaded. i just like the flavor, really)

went shopping on the way home from work: $8: bunch bananas (7), turnip, bunch collards, orange, loaf of bread (ezekiel 4:9 whole grain), ear of corn.
banana, lemonade. almonds and raisins. 1/2 an orange.
cooked up some turnips (or rutabagas, not sure) and collards with garlic, soy sauce and sauerkraut juice (from the jar). had a slice of the bread, toasted with buttery spread. 1/2 ear of boiled corn with buttery spread and dulse seaweed seasoning shake. sauerkraut. lemonade. vitamin.
[i usually like to eat lots of margarine, buttery spread and oil because of the high omega fatty acid content. margarines and buttery spreads tend to have a few hundred mgs of omega 3s and 6s, but canola oil has 1200mgs, so i'm trying to use oil in place of margarine where i can.]

for breakfast i had a whole wheat pancake cooked with raisins, eaten with peanut butter, margarine, and grape jelly. a tall glass of nesquik.
yesterday i bought collards for a dollar.

kombucha (my new homebrew tastes like apple cider, so we tested the alcohol%by volume and it said it was 4%! theres no beer in the house to double check my alcohol% reader is working, we have to buy some alcohol to test it... i'll pick some up next time i'm at the store.)

i think i had french fries that night also.

strawberry coconut milk kefir (like strawberry yogurt drink. kinda like a lasse)
shot of aloe juice with 21st century brand once daily women's multi-vitamin
yerba mate tea. i think i drank about 4 refills of tea today so far.
sauteed onion, chopped brussel sprouts, thinly sliced collards and dinosaur kale, til soft, then for a sauce in a cup i diluted a scoop of split pea/black eyed pea mash from fridge with hot water, braggs (soy sauce), and a few dashes of salt-free spike seasoning (table blend). added that to vegetable mixture. tossed in the rest of leftover macaroni noodles (they're from an olive oil salt thing, and they're spicy). made a new macaroni dish. yummy.
the rest of that grapefruit.
a few handfuls of dried goji berries (like raisins), and some cacao nibs (chocolate crunchy things)
pan fried plantains (sliced thin and flipped once. cooked along side my sandwich)
grilled pb&j sandwich. (its way better like that. add the peanut butter and grill til a little toasty)

breakfast: pot of yerba mate tea. b12 dot. oriental flavored ramen (top ramen brand, NOT maruchan) (heated water to boil with chopped onion, wakame, kombu, and dulse pieces, ms. dash. then added noodles oriental flavor packet and miso paste) served with mixed veggies warmed from a can.
coffee. another b12 dot. earl grey tea (i was trying to work at home, and worried i would feel distracted)
pepperocinis
brown rice with mushrooms, celery, and red cabbage. spinach. hot chili and soy sauce. ate a carrot while waiting for that to cook. vitamin.
strawberry and peach smoothie. (fruit and water. it was flavorful enough like that)
tofu parm my room mate baked. it was good. she breaded it with a nutritional yeast and flour and spices then baked it with pasta sauce.
made some breakfast food for dessert: malt of meal with himalayan pink salt and maple syrup.
i also went grocery shopping today. picked up some (doble fibra mexican brand wheat) bread, corn tortillas, canned turnip greens, canned asparagus. it was less than 10 bucks.

pancakes and grapefruit. green tea.
split pea mash with turnips and carrots over rice (leftover pumpkin seed stuff). yam. tea.
made a pot pie. forgot to take pictures. but you mix flour with margarine and dill and garlic salt til smooth, then add water until its dough consistency. add flour if its too wet. roll out 2 pie sized pieces, for top and bottom. boil a couple diced potatoes. fry some spinach with carrots and french style green beans and garlic and onion italian seasoning. preheat oven to 350. press dough into bottom of pie dish. prebake only dish with bottom dough for 15 minutes. mash potatoes, mix with vegetables, add water to smooth creamy consistency. add salt and pepper and spices to taste. fill pie dish and pack cooked lentils on top of the potato mixture. cover with other dough piece like a pie. cut a hole on top. bake until dough is done. i didn't make or buy any gravy. i just ate it out of the pie pan with some flax seed oil. it was really really good!
then i ate ritz crackers til my stomach wanted to blow up

sandwich on ezekiel bread with vegenaise dijon spinach and some sort of fake meat slice (raided husband's work fridge)
bbq stuff: boca burger grilled with some beer, eaten on a hot dog bun with relish mustard and bbq sauce. chips. pasta salad. green tea.

grapefruit. carrot. tea.
kidney beans and corn tortillas. yam. crackers and salsa. pistachios. oreos.
lentil soup. more pistachios.
top ramen with onion, garlic, and sauteed collards added. (the top ramen oriental flavor is vegan)
wine. ginger snaps. kombucha

grapefruit, curried rice and yam, "chicken" chipotle sandwich with guac
grapefruit. tea. banana. frijodilla made with mashed kidney beans between 2 oiled corn tortillas, fried. good.
yams. more curried rice with vegetables: broccoli, kale, carrots, onions, etc. flax seed oil added.
chai tea.
spicy "chicken" chipotle sandwich with guacamole (vegan seitan pattie) from natures express by balboa park! sooooooooooooooooooo good. also got a raw burger. never tried it before. its a dehydrated hunk of seasoned veggies and nuts and seeds, topped with a nut cheese, tomato, onions, sprouts, served in a cabbage leaf. its pretty good too. and then i had a chocolate chip cookie.
